This week we farewelled our last guests. A special couple who stayed with us a few times over the years.
As 2023 is coming to a close it is bitter sweet for us to close our doors on our airbnb too.
Around 20 years ago we started welcoming backpackers/wwoofers from all around the world and then started listing with airbnb, later on booking.com and expedia. We had so many wonderful people stay with us sometimes for one night, sometimes for a few months.
We would like to say thank you for choosing to come and visit. We are hugely grateful and very blessed to have had so many incredible moments with you all.
We would love for you to share some of your favorite photos or stories and stay connected. Feel free to post them here or privately.
Our kids have all almost grown up and so we would like to welcome the next chapter of our lives and possibly travel a little ourselves.
In the meantime we are looking for some fabulous 'flatmates' for the cottage.
