It's on again folks....the annual Soprano's Hot Rod Picnic...so looking forward to having you awesome folk back with us for another epic day out that raises funds for the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter.
The Annual Miss Soprano Pin Up Competition is on, the famous 'Rat Fink' trophy for the hot rod club with the most rides registered on the day...will Tararua Rodders be beaten?
Stunning Betty Boop artwork will be on offer as well as an iconic hot rod piece of art as well, plus loads of amazing prizes and raffles...100% of all proceeds on the day go to the Rescue Helicopter! Last year the Soprano''s raised $5850, thanks to you amazing Petrolheads!

Americana, Susie made it for us all when her car was announced as the car to go on the promotional material and T shirts. A huge accolade for her car and her. We took some photos to send to Americana to use and looked out some other photos. Enjoy.

2025 02 25 On the road home time to reflect on Americarna. Highlight being Suzie's award there were 6 Cars from Road Runners and Danny & Jadzia from Moonshine and two Canadians that Mark had bought along, as a group it was just great fun with friends and to catch up with others we had met previously. In total there were 750 cars registered. Thanks John Rae and the Team.

2024 02 24 Part 2 Americarna Saturday, Show and shine in New Plymouths Devon street where festivities during the day and that night was the Americarna Dinner at the TSB Stadium.
Well the thrill of Americarna for us was when John Rae called out Dean's name and and said the 1956 Cadillac had been chosen as the 2024 Americarna car and a picture of it would be used on the "T" shirt and promotional material for 2025.
It was Suzie's car so they were presented the cup with tears from Suzie. Wow what a night !!!

2024 02 24 Part 1 Americarna Saturday, Show and shine in New Plymouths Devon street where cars were parked up. The people turned out in droves. There were stalls and children's activities midget electric car racing and and a vintage aircraft display. The shops embraced the festivities.

John as always had two tables booked at the Crowded house Bar out front to watch the spectacle of American cars cruising the Main shopping area of new Plymouth.

2024 02 23 Part 4 Americarna Hawera "Go & Stop". We ran out of steam and headed back to our Hotel for a rest before going out for dinner and the night cruise so missed the Mangorei Road spectacle.
Kevin and John had a great time running their cars.
