An awesome cause that we are proud to get behind! Nourish at Christmas - The Hamper Elves

A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to make our Nourish deliveries happen - long before hampers are loaded into the delivery cars of our volunteers!

Today, we're giving a massive shout-out to Jo, Michael and the Urban Harvest team who gave up a huge amount of sweat and tears to make our 2023 hampers happen.

Jo and the incredible team at Urban Harvest had to store 90 pallets worth of food, and then pack it all into 3,560 boxes ready for delivery. With such a huge logistical operation, a number of businesses in Hania Street, where Urban Harvest are based, pitched in to help. A huge thank you goes to:

❤ Bidfood & MG Marketing helped by sourcing great product/produce at great prices.

💚 Moana New Zealand provided the packing space on Hania St.

❤ Stefan at Regional Wines provided forklifting services. He unloaded over 80 pallets and then re-loaded them onto the delivery trucks.

💚 The team at Lord of the Isles on Hania Street for also helping with forklifting.

❤ Mainfreight for freight of produce from Grenada to Mt Victoria and then out to Farrah’s.

💚Craig at All European Car Services for storing extra pallets of food for us.

❤ Ice Rescue for storing pallets as well.

Plus all the residents & businesses of Hania Street for putting up with traffic disruptions while trucks were loaded and unloaded 🙏

A huge effort from so many incredibly generous people!

This is a true example of the community coming together to help others, and what Nourish is all about.
