Had a great helper or two today, we reset the electric fencing, pulled beetroot from the garden (which was a save as Scoobie Doo helped with all the weeding that included but not limited to the celery, spinach, lettuces, rose bush and grape vine, will add that to his resume).
We thanked him by clearing his paddock of manure.
We played board games and made a kite to fly to relax.

They opened their own icecream shop with a twist, they had a breakfast and dessert menu too. I spent alot of money eating there today, but lucky for me they offered prepaid credit cards with $10000's to spend. Food wasn't cheap $1000 per waffle, but the service was amazing. Next came the horse play first on toy horses then later on Lucy horse. Even the my little pony toys had an adventure. They took me on one too, climbing hills and wading through the creek. They did have to haul me out when we got to the end! Another beautiful day.

Check out our busy day, we were creative, explorative, gentle, caring and helpful. We looked after all the pets and even had time for a few games of ping pong. Summer finally here too.

Another lovely day for a 4th birthday party here at Trickle Creek.
Cute cake, bunnie art, and loads of fun with dressups, pony rides and a treasure hunt in the fairy garden.

No cake from today's horse riding party, but I'm allowed to share the horse riding success ribbons made instead. Lovely ladies, great weather, bliss. Thanks for choosing us to party with.

We started our day playing ping pong, making burgers and feeding the horses hay. Then we were off climbing the hill, feeding the small pets chickens and sheep. We hid in the long grass, dressed up and played music with sticks on the fence. Horse riding of course. A lollipop hunt and popcorn too finish our day. Splendid.

We made the bunnies and guineapigs decorated food parcels as their treats today and they loved them. They were curious, interactive and given extra attention by this fabulous group of young ladies. Lucy horse enjoyed the rides she gave and Scoobie loved the brush and hand feeding. The bush climb was new for some and rolling down the hill was hilarious 😂. Always fun exploring Trickle Creek. The weather was amazing today, we could add water play to our experiences. Art, horsexriding, guinea pig cuddles, a lollipop and mushroom hunting, loads of dressups and hand feeding the sheep and fish were all part of our day. Laughter filled the hills of Horokiwi.

A fun start to our school holiday programmes here at Trickle Creek. They bunnies and guinea pigs were loved and fed lots, Scoobie and Lucy were warmed up for more riding and some creative art explored. Bookings can be made online www.tricklecreek.co.nz, come join us in farm based play.

A relaxed last day of childcare for the year, pets were loved and nutured, ball handling challenges set and achieved, castles built from sand and support given to and from each other. Huge thanks to everyone who supported us this year, remember to book in some school holiday fun, a party or some horse riding and care experiences in January. Have a safe and merry Christmas.
