Hireplus Oamaru 2018 LTD are the agents for Alps 2 Ocean Cycles and we are excited that cycle season is upon us again.The bookings are coming in thick and fast. We have a vast range of bikes including some very nice new e-bikes purchased for the new season, and of course all of the accessories needed along the trail. As our main post states we can shuttle you to and from Dunedin, Christchurch, Queenstown and Timaru airports, drop you to whatever start point along the trail, pick you up from wherever you want to stop along the trail, arrange your accommodation, take you to your accommodation after you have completed the trail, transfer your luggage between stops. Well its that time of the year again when the cyclists are out and about on the trails. We have lots of bookings for our cycles, e-bikes and trail bikes, shuttle's, one way hires and car hires. Hopefully the cold weather will be gone and the warmth will permeate our bones. Look forward to seeing you all 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🌞🌤

Well hasn't it been a crazy time over the past 2 years. It's been a bit 'on again, off again' but now it seems as though things may settle down for tourism again with the opening of the borders. We are very pleased to say that we are extremely grateful it hasn't had too large an impact on us. We are still very busy and our feet are barely touching the ground 😊 we have had lots of kiwis coming to do the A2O trail and the Dunstan Trail and many more coming. It's nice to have visitors down our part, and none of them seem to have let the unknown of Covid 😷 or bad weather 🌦🌬 put them off. We look forward to what is left of the warm weather and being of assistance to all of our wonderful local, NZ wide and overseas guests who have booked their cycle experience with us. Well our season has really taken off. This is our first year with the cycles and it has been outstanding. Due to border restrictions, we have seen so many Kiwi's touring down our end of this beautiful country, enjoying everything it has to offer. It has been amazing and awesome to meet everyone. We have endeavoured to keep our prices low to meet the demand by charging local prices, not international and it certainly has been successful. If you want to bring your own bike on the plane, you can do so, but just be aware that airlines do not allow e-bike batteries on board. If you want to bring an e-bike, you are more than welcome to courier your battery to us prior to your trip, and it will be waiting for you on arrival :-) We offer one way hires to carry on your journey and you can leave your vehicle at either Queenstown, Christchurch, Dunedin or Timaru airports, or by prior arrangement we can arrange pickup from motels.
