Are you a team player with a desire to learn and grow with an awesome company? Southern Orchards Ltd are a large kiwifruit company, looking for an Orchard Assistant for our developing and producing orchards based in the Tauranga North area.

Key skills required:
 Have experience or an understanding of kiwifruit vine husbandry tasks (vine/shelter training, installing and repairing irrigation systems, planting kiwifruit and shelter plants)
 To be able to communicate effectively with internal and external workers.
 Be able to follow and adapt to workplans.
 Experience preferred in operating vehicles and machinery (tractors, mulcher, weedspray unit, tractor attachments, trailers etc)
 To be physically fit enough to perform tasks on the orchard.
 Have flexibility to work alone and within a team.
 Willingness to maintain a high level of safety and adhere to Southern Orchards Health & Safety policy.
 To be willing to learn and open to new ideas.
 A minimum restricted/clean drivers’ licence.
