Looking for some music and laughs this weekend? Hogsnort Bulldogs Goodtime Show ticks all the feel-good boxes. Get along to their concert this Saturday, December 7 and show them the love - they deserve every clap, cheer and accolade!

Being part of a warm and caring community is our great fortune and we love seeing wonderful things happen in Whanganui. Our Whanganui isite Visitor Centre has lots of lovely regulars and Haley and her mum Doreen, who is IHC Whanganui's event co-ordinator, always brighten the day for our isite team. When Doreen recently chatted to our isite's Keri about Bulldogs Goodtime Show's exciting upcoming Whanganui performance, Keri was delighted to track down contact details for Kevin, Hogsnort's promoter/band member/manager extraordinaire.

Not only was the wonderful Kevin delighted to hear about Doreen and Haley's plans for the IHC Whanganui group to enjoy the show - but he promptly donated the group's tickets for the event! We know how hard organisations like Whanganui IHC work and we're so impressed by Hogsnort's generosity 💛

Our city is ready for pens, pencils, and crayons gallore! Pop in to see us at 31 Taupo Quay and collect this beautiful colouring competition for Whanganui Heritage Festival.

Entires must be delivered to Whanganui War Memorial Centre by Friday 1st November. Winners will be announced on Monday the 4th November by Whanganui Heritage Month.

What a bouquet! 🥰 Every day we connect with and help people at the isite. Each and every encounter can leave a lasting impression and the importance of this is not lost on us. Sometimes it's a one-off interaction guiding out-of-town visitors on what to do in Whanganui. Other times we are supporting locals who pop in regularly. These flowers for our beautiful Keri were an acknowledgment of the time she takes and genuine care she has for a regular. 💐 Her tiaki and manaakitanga shines and we couldn't be more proud and grateful for its impact. 💚

These bikes have seen some things! 🚵 Our isite sits near the end of the Mountains to Sea trail and we're frequently spoiled with visiting riders and stories of their action-packed journeys. We have a 3D table map for riders to explore their travels and gain a new understanding of their trip. It is a treat to be a part of their journey and welcome them to Whanganui. If you ever do the trail be sure to pop in an say hello to our team!
