Today's newborn girl made me work hard for her photoshoot! Luckily I got a few sleepy shots at the start, and we got her nice and drowsy a few times.... but she easily woke, and that was that!
Mum says she hasn't ever slept much during the day, luckily she's a happy wee girl.
Today's colour theme was white, blue and pink (so cute for a wee girl).

Today's maternity photography session was a lot of fun! Keeping the theme classic and elegant, they decided to style their studio photoshoot in black and white. I loved the gowns and wraps they chose from my wardrobe.... this Mumma-to-be rocked it!

The last time I photographed this family was when these two girls were 2 years old and newborn. And 8 years later they're back for their baby brother's newborn photoshoot.
Little Mr T was incredible!
He arrived asleep, wriggled a bit while I stripped him off.... but as soon as he was wrapped he was off snoring! He happily let me pose him without even the slightest flinch, although he could still pout while he slept!

Just finished a fun children's photoshoot with an amazing 8 year old and her super cute 2 year brother. With Mum & Dad cheering the kids on, we were finished within 30 minutes!
Last time we did a studio session since Mr Cute was only 8 months old. This time we headed outside the studio for an outdoor rustic farm-style look. No photos will be posted online, but the neighbours cows decided to come and see what we were up to.... and I couldn't resist!

Today's baby boy arrived asleep, woke briefly for a nappy change by Dad, and then straight back to sleep when I wrapped him up. And he stayed asleep for his entire newborn photoshoot. What a little angel 💕
And speaking of angels... big sister was outstanding! Happy to pose, happy to be directed, happy to snuggle her baby brother. These two are going to share an amazing bond...

Tonight's photoshoot was pretty wild and windy! We had already had to postpone this family's beach sunset photography session due to rain, and rescheduling is tricky with this busy family.
Looking relaxed and 'warm' is no easy feat when it's chilly, but this family did incredibly well, and their photos are stunning!
In the end you just need to laugh and go with mother nature.

What a stunning evening for a family photoshoot - beautiful soft light filtered by the clouds made some dreamy photos in the sand dunes, a little rain (we headed back to wait it out in the cars).... the rain slowed and finally stopped just as the sun was setting, and out came these heavenly colours.
Wow, just wow!

Tonight I had the pleasure of capturing this family and a couple of incredibly special milestones for them - 10 year wedding anniversary today and a 5 year old's birthday.
They coped well with my crazy ideas... climbing onto rocks (without leaving footprints in the sand), and stand/ crouch in the wet sand for stunning reflections.... and run fast just before the next rollers came crashing in!
Another gorgeous sunset to mark this special day.

Today's gorgeous baby girl is 6 weeks old but still a tiny newborn size. She is just petite. She arrived tired and well-fed, but do you think she would go to sleep? She was happy and inquisitive... but finally, finally we got her to close her eyes... and she kept opening them :-)
With lots of quiet rocking we finally got there.

This little baby is already adored, especially by his big sister. At 6 years old she was a great help for her Mumma's maternity photoshoot... she was happy being photographed, but even happier when I had her tossing fabric.
