This is a little introduction to who we are, and were we have come from and how we became to be doing now.
Emily and I meet 10 years ago In Christchurch.
Far from what we do with CkC our professions are i am fitter welder fabricator and my lovely wife is a vet nurse / Mum.
After meeting me what Emily didn't know was that what came with me was a rusty old kombi called Bazil.
I really don't know what she thought when Bazil was dropped off finally after 5 years of storage. But im pretty sure like a lot of people she was wondering what the hell i was thinking, a lot of times i thought that too!
Over a four year period we restored Bazil working many late nights in our small garage joined to our house.
In 2013 Bazil was finally ready to hit the road.
His first maiden voyage was a day trip everything went well.
The second Trip was a week later to New Plymouth for the NZ Vw Natinals. Bazil wasn't 100% finished interior wise but we were going.
This was a massive undertaking as we were still very new to Bazil and learning how to drive him. Our Trip none a less went with out a hitch. Since then Bazil has traveled faultlessly to Taupo Whangarei West Coast of South Island all the way to Bluff.
During this next year we had people asking if we would transport them to there weddings. So from there on thats what we did.
In 2014 Bazil won Best Kombi in the NZ Vw nationals we were so happy we really did not expect that but i must say we had spent so much time and effort on Bazil, it was very cool. We had done most the work ourselves. Not paid someone to do everything like some do!
2014 was a big year for us we got married and guess what car we
used, Bazil of course he was the star of the show.
2015 we were glad to introduced Bazil as a Photo Booth of which he has catered to many weddings and also been hired for the Christchurch City Council and Vodaphone events.
2016 we had the pleasure of meeting our son
Harvey Angus Munro now two at the writing of this, he is crazy about our Kombis poor boy lol. But i guess this comes with the territory.
2017 we fabricated some massive Love lights as an addition to Bazil.
2018 we introduced Marquee hire.
Since the arrival of Harvey our small busines has defiantly helped as out as you will know one wage these days supporting a family can be very tight at times.
Emily now has the pleasure of chauffeuring now she has her licences to do so.
So hopefully this gives you an insite to were we come from, we are very hard working. We defiantly are proud of what we have achieved with our small family business we have built this from the ground up literally.
We are very straight up and love what we do.
We are not just Chauffeurs we will help were ever needed.
