In the Samhan Mountains in Dhofar province you can find giant dracaena trees called also " dragon's blood trees".
Plants grow on rocky slopes on the dry plateau at the top of Dhofari mountains and are of great interest among tourists.

🟢The longest grave in the world is in Salalah , Oman🇴🇲

One of the important religious sites and touristic attractions located in the middle of the city Salalah is the Nabi Umran Tomb also known as Nabi Imran Tomb.
This mausoleum is dedicated to Prophet Imran considered to be a father of the Virgin Mary , Jesus' grandfather.
The Tomb is quite famous because of its extraordinary length ab.12,5 m.Why? Because the exact location of the tomb is not known and that is why the entire area is as a grave.
It is also the longest grave in the world in Islamic story.
The grave is simply outside, with a small garden and a small but renovated mosque next to it.

️️ 🟤 New attraction nearby Salalah is Koofan Heritage House 🟤

It is the first touristic heritage lodge and private museum opened in 2023 in Taqah village ,in Dhofar Governorate, in Oman, with ancient lifestyle and Omani architecture.
Koofan Heritage House is a fine example of an old Dhofari houses with its belongings of cloths, tools and furniture that were used during a period of old time by people of Taqah.
The three- floor home has rooms decorated in traditional way and is about 150 years old.
All walls of it are made by local stones called Quss by using the clay.
Interesting fact is that the unique properties of this stones cause climate that the house is cool in warm summer and warm in cold winter time.
The museum is open for visitors every day from 8 am.
If you want to back to the past you can also use old traditional Omani cloths avaliable to visitors.
The Koofan Heritage House also offers to rent private rooms- accommodation with service, garden, terrace and free private parking.

W tym roku Ramadan przypada w miesiącu marcu.
Jeśli w tym okresie wybierasz się do Omanu i nie jesteś muzułmaninem, z pewnością ten wpis cię zainteresuje.

▪️Teoretycznie Ramadan w 2024 przypada na okres pomiędzy 10 marca a 8 kwietnia. W praktyce zależy to od księżyca. Początek Ramadanu zaczyna się wraz pojawieniem się nowego księżyca. Ponieważ zjawisko to nie występuje na całym świecie w tym samym czasie, również początek Ramadanu może różnić się w zależności od kraju. Zwróć na to uwagę.
▪️W czasie Ramadanu wyznawcy Islamu będą pościć od świtu do zmierzchu. Jedzenie, picie, palenie a nawet żucie gumy w tym czasie jest zabronione.
Dlatego okazuj szacunek, nie jedz i nie pij w miejscach publicznych i w pobliżu osób poszczących.
Nikt ci nie każe pościć ale jeśli już musisz się np. napić to proszę spróbuj zrobić to w ukryciu. Będziemy Ci bardzo wdzięczni.
Oczywiście zasady te nie obowiązują w kompleksach hotelowych.Tu w Ramadanie wszystko odbywa się normalnie.

W czasie Ramadanu zazwyczaj bardziej konserwatywni Omańczycy będą się ubierać bardziej konserwatywnie.

One of the largest mosques in Oman is the Sultan Quaboos Mosque located in the heart of the city Salalah.
