We have this wonderful family from East Germany fishing with us for the second year & when you fish with somebody day after day you become sorta like family. Our Mate Papucho has developed into a very strong fisherman while fishing for Bucket List and now that his confidence is higher his personality is really coming on strong. The day before this past trip, Papucho had his barber shave the son's name NERO into the side of his scalp. This video shows the moment Papucho took off his hat to show off his new "DO"!! Eleven year old Nero is just getting ready to release one of his Bucket List fish....a Cubera Snapper...when Papucho took off his hat. Look at Nero's face & make sure your sound is up!! With us, it is more than fishing.

The other day we had a friends and family fishing trip. We take these trips every once in a while to try new technics, gear and fishing areas. We fished a new area over by Puerto Amuelles which was a bit slow, so we headed back in to try our luck at Rooster Fishing off of Isla Peridas. Fishing was GREAT...Rooster bites started coming fast and furious. We had one 50 pounder fight sooooo hard he plum tuckered himself out...and his swim bladder was full which made him float on the surface when released. There are different ways to revive this gallant fish...but Derek...Capt Chuy's 15 year old son fixed the situation before we knew it. He jumped in grabbed the fish and took him back down into deeper water, which equalized the fish's swim bladder, and he swam off to fight another day. Our hats are off to Derek...a reel Steward of the Sea. Join Chuy and our whole team for the fighing trip of your lifetime. BUCKET LIST FISHING...formerly Reel Inn in Panama.
