Panama’s art scene just got more exciting with the opening of the new Satellite Gallery of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama (MAC) in Casco Antiguo.

Founded in 1962, the Museum’s main venue is located in Ancón, inside a repurposed Masonic temple from the 1940s, and holds a collection of over 1,200 works. MAC uses art as a powerful tool to explore Panama’s identity, geography, politics, architecture, and culture.

Panama has all the ingredients to become a leading cultural destination in Latin America, and spaces like this one help tell that story.
