Did you know the myth of the brothers Ausangate and Salkantay?😱

It is said that Ausangate, the older brother, wise and serene, traveled south to the highlands in search of food for his village, which had been affected by the drought. There, he discovered forgotten agricultural techniques and gathered potatoes, corn, and other Andean products. With great effort, he returned to Cusco and saved his people from starvation, demonstrating his wisdom and dedication.

Salkantay, the younger brother, strong and passionate, traveled north to the jungle in search of exotic fruits and plants. There, he met Verónica, a young woman of unique beauty, and they fell deeply in love. Although their love was forbidden, Salkantay did not forget his mission and returned to Cusco with the plants, helping to diversify the food of his people.
