Las Salineras de Maras🇵🇪
Cuentan con más de 3000 pozas de diferentes tamaños y dimensiones. Brota del subsuelo del interior de la montaña Qaqawiñay. El intenso sol hace que el agua se evapore, dejando cristales de sal que luego son “cosechados” con canastas artesanales, se vuelve a abrir el paso de agua y el proceso se repite 4 a 5 veces por año.

THE CIRCULAR TERRACES OF MORAY 🇵🇪

SALT MINES CUSCO 🇵🇪

TEMPLE OF THE SUN 🇵🇪

Semicircular structure with astronomical functions. It has two windows, each of which is oriented towards sunrise during the winter solstices on June 21 and the summer solstices on December 22. The first rays of the sun will pass through to draw a line on an altar that is inside. This astronomical event had the function of marking the beginning of agricultural activities, as part of the solar calendar. What materials did the Incas use to build Machupicchu 🇵🇪?✌️

The stone was the main material for the construction of Machupicchu, the white granite and gray granite was used for the realization of the different sectors such as enclosures and palaces that belonged to the Inca elite while for the construction of houses of the general population used the mud resulting from the preparation or mixture of earth with straw or ichu. Machupicchu has 16 architectural styles, styles that reflect the other cities that are within the Inca territory.
