On our way to Manu, we stop at the Tres Cruces Viewpoint. At 3,500 meters, this spot offers clear views of the Sacred Valley, with the landscape opening up in all directions.
The Tres Cruces here are a mix of local history and Christian influence, marking a point of interest where cultures meet. It’s a simple but striking stop, giving you a moment to stretch and take in the landscape before continuing the journey.

📍Onward to Manu.

We came together for Queñua Raymi. A day focused on reforestation and community. Alongside ECOAN - Asociación Ecosistemas Andinos and the Quishuarani community, we planted native queñua trees to help restore this unique ecosystem.

This day was all about action, working together to restore the Andean landscape and support the community that protects it.

Just one week ago! Our team came together in the breathtaking mountains of Lares for a day of teamwork. Games, challenges, and some friendly competition set the tone as we prepared for the next day’s big mission, .

Ending the day camping in true Amazonas Explorer fashion was the perfect way to recharge before giving back to this incredible place.

🌱 15,000 Trees. 1 Day. Endless Impact 🌿

This December 6th, Team Amazonas Explorer is heading to the Quishuarani community with one mission: plant over 15,000 native queuña trees in a single day. These trees are more than just greenery, they’re a lifeline for watersheds, wildlife, and communities.

Since 2007, we’ve been part of a movement that has planted over 1 million trees. Every trip you take with Amazonas Explorer plants two more.

💚 Here’s how you can help:

✔️ Travel with Amazonas Explorer.
✔️ Share our story with your friends and family.
✔️ Support our reforestation efforts directly through our GoFundMe campaign ➡ https://gofund.me/fdcb4beb

Travel. Share. Support.

Wandering souls, different stories,
gathered where clouds touch earth.
Some seek peace, others answers,
yet here we all learn the same truth:
mountains make us small, bonds make us powerful.

Finding yourself in places that feel like they belong to another world. These ancient rocks have been holding it down for centuries, and still, they somehow make us feel tiny in the best way possible.

E-Biking is one of our favorite ways to connect with nature. It brings the thrill while leaving a lighter footprint, making every ride both exhilarating and environmentally mindful. There’s nothing quite like a little extra pedal power.

P.S. The mountains seem even more peaceful when you’re moving quietly through them

When was the last time you heard…nothing? No notifications, no background buzz, just pure, unfiltered silence.

Under a sky scattered with stars, far from the rush of daily life, there’s a sense of calm that’s hard to find anywhere else. Just you, the mountains, and the vast, quiet universe above.

Breathe it in.

Peru Adventure Travel Experts

Since the 1980s, we have been using adventure to show people a different side to Peru. We soon realised we had a responsibility to protect the places we travel through and a responsibility to operate as safely as possible.

In 2007 we became members of 1% for the Planet and started planting trees. So far we have planted over 1 million trees with ECOAN and other partners.

In 2016 we joined Travelers Against Plastic, to help try and eliminate single-use plastic

In 2017 we became a B-Corporation, the only one in the whole of the Peru travel industry
