The next few pics I post are going to be about my experience on the Inca Trail. Imagine heading off to the Peruvian Andes to complete one of the most famous hikes in the world at quite some altitude without having done any research, without being prepared for the lack of bathroom situation, without being in anywhere near good physical shape to conquer such a feat... well, that's what I did in 2014. Stay tuned for the first part of the story in tomorrow's post!!

This is what the last evening of the Inca Trail looked like. A beautiful sunset to wash down the excitement of having conquered 95% of the treacherous hike from the starting point along the banks of the Urubamba River. In summary, would I do it again? At my current weight and fitness level - yes, without a doubt. In the same state I was in during 2014? Absolutely not, I'd take the train. Did you know there was a train? That's why it always pays to research a place first!! 😎
