Footprints project - “Wherever you walk, leave it changed for the better”

As part of our Footsteps project, we completed our latest delivery of jackets and hats to the Rodeana primary school in the Ausangate region on Thursday 18 July ‘24. We also purchased covered toe shoes for any children wearing open toe sandals.

Living at over 4,000m, and needing to walk or cycle up to 45 minutes to school each day through the mountains, means that chilblains on their feet, hands and cheeks are a reality of life for these children due to the tough mountain climate.

Our goal is to keep working every year with different schools in the Ausangate mountain region, delivering jackets, hats and shoes to help bring some relief from the cold so that these children can continue to get an education that will hopefully change their future.
