Rainbow mountain

Ausangate is the highest mountain in the department of Cuzco and the fifth highest in Peru. Its maximum altitude is 6385 m asl It is located about 100 kilometers southeast of the city of Cuzco
This beautiful lagoon gets its name from the snowy mountains near it (Humantay, 5473 m), the lake has been sacred since the Inca civilization, people used to leave sacred offerings to mother earth on the banks of the river, in these times, the Shamans visit the lagoon to make offerings, the locals call this Apachetas.
Apacheta is a process to stack small stones on top of each other, this is done to express their gratitude to Pachamama (Mother Earth)
Waqrapukara is a hidden treasure in the south of Cusco, in Quechua Waqra means horn and Pukara is equivalent to fortress, it is named after its shape, "Horn Fortress" Wqrapukara.
Built between two horn-shaped mountain peaks, the archaeological complex houses eight agricultural terraces and stone steps.

Last Inca Bridge Queswachaka !!!
This is an absolutely unique tour. The Q'eswachaka bridge is located across the Apurimac river, at about (3,900m/ 13,000 feet), in Canas province. This handwoven grass bridge spans 120 feet, and is rebuilt every year as communal effort by all the local people of the region. About 700 men and women form the communities Huinchiri, Ccollana come to Q'eswachaka to a Fiesta that celebrates the construction of the bridge.
