This is the season to witness this great place like a chessboard, it is located in the plains of the Sacred Valley. The different tones of greens and yellowish squares are crops like quinoa, potatoes, wheat, beans, etc. Locals farm this way to fit crops in a small area of land with the idea to have a variety of products. Besides some crops are owned by different families so the reason to farm in square ways.
