Los andenes de Moray

Los andenes de Moray son una impresionante estructura arqueológica ubicada en el Valle de Urubamba, en Perú. Estos andenes, también conocidos como terrazas agrícolas, fueron construidos por los incas y tienen una forma circular concéntrica, lo que les da una apariencia única.

La principal función de los andenes de Moray era probablemente experimental: los incas los usaban para estudiar los efectos de diferentes altitudes y microclimas en el cultivo de sus plantas. Cada terraza tiene un clima ligeramente diferente debido a su altitud y orientación, lo que permitía a los agricultores probar y adaptar sus cultivos en distintas condiciones.

La complejidad y la precisión de su diseño reflejan la avanzada ingeniería y conocimiento agrícola de la civilización inca. Además de su valor funcional, los andenes de Moray también tienen un atractivo visual impresionante, con sus escalones que crean un efecto visual fascinante y que contrastan con el paisaje montañoso circundante.
