ANCASMARKA
In Inca times it was located on the Antisuyo road. The uniqueness of the flight of birds over its buildings gives its name to this archaeological site located in Cusco and used for food storage.
Ancasmarka was a pre-Inca and Inca llaqta. You can see buildings with oval, semi-oval, rectangular plants, thin streets, stairways associated with retaining walls

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of the most important destinations in South America. It houses beautiful traditional towns settled since colonial times like Maras. There the Incas built ancient citadels such as Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero.
Incas cultivated a great diversity of agricultural products on terraces.
Today, all these places are tourist attractions for local and foreing visitors.

"The impossible hug": the new sculpture in Cusco that represents the union between Peruvians.
A HUG FROM A DISTANCE
Although we have stopped sharing with friends and family due to social distancing, this should not prevent us from continuing to overcome the difficulties that the pandemic brings us. For this reason, "The Impossible Embrace" will have 50 replicas of 30 cm in height that will be intervened by local artists and that will be sold in art galleries nationwide. The funds raised will go to the Community of Artisans of San Blas del Cusco, who are severely affected due to the health crisis.
In this way, Cusqueña demonstrates the importance of unity to overcome adversity and that nothing is "impossible". Today, we all seek to get out of the crisis caused by the pandemic and, with "The impossible hug", Cusqueña makes us think of that hug that, when everything happens, we will find ourselves again with a Cusqueña in hand.
