This is a touristic bus service that stops at various sites enroute such as Andahuayllilas Chapel, Raqchi, La Raya (photostop) and Pukara. The total journey is 10 hours approximately and that includes the stops. Lunch is included in Sicuani.

🏔️We were able to made it! 24th of October 2024.
As we said at the biggining of this trip, we had to spend two nights in Aguas Calientes and make a line from 4:00am & we were able to get the best circuit entering to Machu Picchu at 1:00pm.

The Machu Picchu Butterfly Garden is a tourist attraction located in the city of Aguas Calientes, near the entrance to the citadel of Machu Picchu, in Peru. It is a project of the Machu Picchu Guides Association, which seeks to promote sustainable tourism and the conservation of biodiversity in the area.

Salt Mines of Maras

The Salt Mines of Maras are located 50 km in the northeast of Cusco city, at an altitude of 3,200 m.a.s.l. Geographically, they are located in the lower part of the sub-basin and left bank of the Salineras stream, towards its mouth in the river Vilcanota, in the jurisdiction of the peasant communities of Maras and Pichingoto, between the gorge of the Qaqahuiñay, Cruz Mocco, Llully Mocco and Chupayoq hills. It has three access roads: from the town of San Francisco de Maras, through the bridle path or “runañan” to the salt mines, the road affirmed from the town of San Francisco de Maras, and crossing the Inca bridge of Tarabamba by the Pichingoto community.
