Killarumiyoq, the Quechua word is does means "moonstone”. The area Killarumiyoq is 5000 square meters, but much of this part was buried by an avalanche many years ago. The place has the following parts or sectors: a huge terrace area made by the same style of Sacsayhuaman, Chinchero and finally the higher parts of Ollantaytambo, carved on one of the larger rocks symbol, Huaca or replica stone of Apu (sacred mountain), finally Quillarumiyoc was a great temple of feminism.

About 50 kilometers before arriving at Cusco, close to the Interoceanic Sur, you enter the pampas of Anta, the big barn Navel of the World, such as the longest “andenería” of Peru, and access to the Sacred Valley through Huarocondo. This rich agricultural valley is bounded by two mountain ranges, one bordering the Apurimac River, and the other, at near to the town of Ancahuasi, home to one of the only temples dedicated to femininity that exist in Peru: Quillarumiyoc. Is the place of moon rock. At the top of Ancahuasi, about 2 kilometers good track from the main road, there is this huge archaeological site is formed of terraces, waterways, etc. In the middle of all this it is a huge rock in its most hidden part. This piece represented the characteristic of a semicircular shaped carved throne dedicated to Quilla, the Moon goddess.

The mines of ; they were an important mining center that was located on the hill of Potosi in Upper Peru (now Bolivia), to the south of the city of Potosi.
It is stated that the silver candles were discovered by chance one night of the year 1545, by a Quechua shepherd named Diego Huallpa, which was lost while returning with his herd of llamas. He decided to camp at the foot of Cerro Rico and lit a bonfire to keep warm the cold. When he awoke in the morning, he found among smoldering embers of the fire, shining threads of silver and melted by the heat of fire. The hill was apparently so rich in silver candles that it was in all its glory. On April 1, 1545; a group of Spaniards led by Captain Juan de Villarroel took posession of the Cerro Rico.
The great wealth of the Cerro Rico and the intense explotation to which they subjected the Spanish made the city grow dramatically. His wealth was so great that in his monumental work "Don Quixote" Miguel de Cervantes Spanish coined the saying's worth a Potosí, which means that something is worth a fortune.
