My family had an amazing time at Machu Picchu!! Our guide, Henry, was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the Inkan culture. His passion for the history of the site shown brightly in his detailed descriptions of the history and the true story of Machu Picchu! I see the Inkan people in a completely different way. I highly recommend him !

The experience is extreme, but highly recommended. I was touched by the guide Percy who helped me in the inconveniences what I had along the way, not only in the problems but in the mood, guided us excellently and gave us his knowledge in all routes. Excellent food and very experienced porters.

Inca Trail Expeditions were great from pick up to drop off. The dedication and teamwork between guides porters and chef was first class. A table was set up for breakfast lunch and dinner. This was stacked with more than enough nutritious and tasty food. The chef even managed to cook a cake on the last night! The porters worked tirelessly while maintaining a good humour and being mindful of trekkers. The guides were amazing. Our head guide, Percy, managed the pace and motivated trekkers in what is an arduous trek. His cultural and environmental explanations were great. He also had a deft way of leading the group and encouraging inclusivity. He was ably supported by his 2ic Isa who was very kind and always looking out for guests needs. The 4 day trek to Machu Picchu is not a ‘walk in the park’ but this company made it an inspirational experience for me.
