It is due to these techniques and knowledge, the efforts of traditional fishermen, farmers, chefs that the culture of Cebiche in Peru was included in the representative list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2023.

Frenchman Pierre Hermé, considered the best pastry chef in the world in 2016 by The World's 50 Best Restaurants, announced the Christmas edition of a brand new type of macaroon made of lucuma, called “Jardín de Perú”. This Peruvian Superfood is an extraordinary natural energizer, which provides fiber, potassium, vitamin B3 and carotenoids. In addition, exports of Lucuma, also known as the “Gold of the Incas”, reached 223 tons, with a value of USD 857,000, between January and September this year.
