Carhuacocha, another of our favorite camping sites in the Cordilllera trekking circuit.
Behind we can see: Yerupajá, Yerupajá chico and Hirishanca peaks.
It is name Carhuacocha, comes from Quechua words, Karwash = yellow and Qucha = lake, that mean: the yellow lake, it due that the sunsents and sunrises in this place are magical, golden color.
It makes the one of the best in the world.
