The adventure in the Amazon jungle was about to begin! We headed to the boarding port, where the Yakumama Tours team was waiting for us to embark.

After an exciting ride across the Itaya-Amazon river crossing, we finally arrived at the majestic Amazon River. During the journey, we had the chance to see dolphins happily jumping.

After two and a half hours of traveling on the river, we finally arrived at the lodge, where we will be welcomed with a delicious lunch. The afternoon will begin with a hike in search of medicinal plants and strangler trees. It is fascinating to see nature at its fullest! During the hike, we can observe sloths, toucans, and other diurnal species. The sunset we can see is simply spectacular.

After a delicious dinner, we will venture on a night hike in search of tarantulas, amphibians, and caimans. The sounds of the jungle are magical, and the creatures we may encounter will leave you completely fascinated.

On the second day, we will start early at 5:30 am! to enjoy the sunrise and observe herons, eagles, parrots, and exotic birds. After a delicious breakfast, we will begin exploring the Yanayacu River to fish for piranhas and look for iguanas. After a relaxing canoeing, we visit the community of the Yaguas, where we will learn about their culture and crafts.

At dusk, we will visit the Amazon River to spot dolphins and enjoy a mud bath and swim in the Amazon. It is an incredible experience that you will never forget! At night, we will enjoy an exciting nocturnal excursion in search of anacondas and caimans.

The third day will start with sunrise observation and breakfast to continue sailing down the Yaguacocha River in search of wildlife such as monkeys and sloths. After a delicious lunch, we head back to Iquitos, where we will arrive around 5:30 pm.

It will be an exciting and unique adventure in the Amazon jungle, and we will ensure that your experience is unforgettable from the moment of your embarkation to the moment of your return. Definitely an experience you will want to repeat!
