Exciting news! Two new species of Atelopus have been officially described in Loreto, Peru!

A few years ago, during an exploration trip with Bernardo, we had the incredible chance to observe these fascinating toads in their natural habitat. Now, after months of research, they are finally featured in a scientific article. How amazing is that?

If you'd like to see these Atelopus species in the wild, let me know! We’ve identified 3–4 different spots where they can be found.

This year has been unforgettable, all thanks to you, our dear clients, who trusted us to provide unique adventures in the Amazon. 🌿

From exploring the jungle in search of wildlife—wild monkeys, giant anacondas, poisonous frogs, and colorful birds—to navigating rivers teeming with fascinating fish and walking through cities rich in history and exotic life, every experience was special because you were a part of it.

We’ve had the pleasure of hosting visitors from all over the world: Taiwan, the USA, Switzerland, Germany, Peru, England, Spain, and more! It’s been an honor to share our passion for nature with such wonderful people.

🏕️ Tahuayo Wildlife Camp , our jungle camp, also had an amazing year. This haven remains the perfect place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature, interact with the Amazonian community, and experience true ecotourism. This year, we added a new private cabin to provide even more comfort and exclusivity for our guests.

🚤 Every tour was a window into the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon: monkeys, frogs, tarantulas, birds, piranhas, and so much more. Thank you for trusting us to explore the magic of this unique ecosystem.

Flying over the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve and the Nanay River.

The Nanay is a blackwater river and the primary source of drinking water for Iquitos and its nearly half a million residents. Unfortunately, in recent years, illegal mining has spread into its headwaters, polluting the river with mercury. The reserve is relatively small and close to the city, yet it shelters an extraordinary level of biodiversity beyond what you could imagine.

🌿 Unforgettable Moment from Last Week's Jungle Adventure! 🌿

Last week, on our 7-day Amazon journey, we were amazed to spot a huge anaconda resting high in a tree—around 7 meters above the river! This impressive snake measured at least 3 meters long, camouflaged perfectly with the branches. Seeing such a powerful creature in its natural habitat was a true highlight of our trip and a reminder of the Amazon’s incredible biodiversity. 🐍🌱

Exciting discovery! I just found fossilized teeth of an extinct apex predator, possibly a *Purusaurus brasilensis*. This ancient caiman could have reached lengths over 11 meters! It's incredible to think about the giants that once roamed the Amazon.
