We went to see rhe Condors fly without a lot of expectations, hoping to maybe see one or two, and wow! what an amazing show they put out for us. Over 20 condors flying mageatically in front of us. The highlight of the trip, for sure! 🤗😲🦅

We had a great visit at Fundo Huaniladera in the Colca Valley with our lovely hosts, Jenny and Francisco, who welcomed us with a beautiful offering ceremony, a delicious lunch and fascinanting stories of their local culture and folklore. A must stop when visiting Chivay! 🤗🌞✈️🌏

We left Arequipa towards Colca. On our way we were met by hundreds of vicuñas and alpacas, incredible views and lunar landscapes, wow! 🤗

One of the most delicious Peruvian desserts is the "Queso Helado" (Iced Cheese). Its traditional of the Arequipa region and it's made by turning a metal pan filled with a creamy, cinnamony mix over ice. Once the cream freezes on the edge of the pan, it is served in blocks that resembles cheese, hence the name.
If you're ever in Arequipa head over to the San Camilo Market and look for Doña Rosa's stand and try the best Queso Helado, ever! 🤗🍦🧀🧊

Arequipa is called the "White City" because many of its historic buildings are built with Sillar, a white volcanic rock found in the area. Its main square is the heart of Arequipa and the best place to start exploring the city! 🤗
