Our first oficial wildlife expedition with the Seabourn Pursuit was at the Caroni Bird Sanctuary, Trinidad and Tobago roosting place of 12,000 Scarlet Ibis and it was beyond impressive…just a magical time to witness hundreds of birds coming to roost from everywhere!!! Some of these birds were coming back from Venezuela…a flight of 800 kms!

Life is always better surfing! Today I shared the lineup with dolphins and I enjoyed great views of Inca Terns, Peruvian Bo***es and even a couple of Humboldt Penguins. But, it is even better after a great sessh with a red stripe from …thank you Lance for this beauty!

Today in Castro Island, Chiloe,I had a target bird on mind and I got it….I had fantastic views of the Rufous-tailed Plantcutter, male and female! Besides I got a whole other set of birds that made a glorious birding day for me. One of the highlights, was a Chilean Hawk harassing hundreds of Slender-billed Parakeets!
