Ok, so, i will never forget this moment. Let me tell you a little story and I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did. Only a few miles away from our house, crossing the panamerican highway, tucked away between the hills of banana trees and eucaliptos we got to Claudia’s house. Claudia is my friend, she is also a Peruvian-Belgian, loves nature (a marine biologist), she is the mother of two wild twin girls ( I mean this in a positive way), the wife of Guillermo but what mostly defines her is her love and connection with horses. Claudia takes care of her and other people’s horses, she rides them, dances with and around them. For her daughters the same counts and when i entered her gate the day before yesterday, one of her daughters was standing up on the back of one of the horses while it was running around the garden.. Exciting. I was there with another friend Koki, who’s a professional mountain guide and birdwatcher and he was decided to check one of his missing birds from his list today. Two other ladies from Lima with a young girl also showed up for our excursion. After getting our horses together and under the wings of Claudia and her two 8 year old twin girls we left the stables and took off for our mission: getting to the higher hills where the mist hit and turn the landscape once of sudden green with fields of fresh yellow Amancaes flowers... and what a ride, my horse, as I learned on the way, named Conquistador was pretty much a granddad, but triple world champion Peruvian stepping horse and he still had it in him! He walked, talked and watched the landscape change drastically until we got to the magical places and there it was, and then this surprise!!!:
Ochin from Ireland 🇮🇪 had a great time at the Sacred Valley of Incas, Machu Picchu and Cusco with us together with his wife, two kids and friends. He says he is sad the adventure has come to an end and that it is time to go home, but will be be back for more! #peru #irish #familytravel #familyadventure #thetimeisnow #kidswhoexplore #cusco#sacredvalley
When all this is over, we will be waiting for you in Peru to celebrate life.
