"Pepino Dulce" is a Peruvian fruit, juicy, sweet, and exotic. It's a quite local and native fruit from ancient Peru, as evidenced by Moche Peruvian culture ceramics dating back over 3,000 years and represents the "Pepino Dulce". You can also in the next pic see the "Pepino Dulce" plant to understand how it grows.

Important: The main means of development for the ancient Peruvians was agriculture. As inheritors of a challenging yet highly fertile territory, they dedicated themselves to working the land and connecting with their natural environment. This is how they managed to domesticate various crops that now feed Peru and the world. This ancestral knowledge about nature is reflected in their art dating back approximately 3,000 years.

Today, used in stews, salads, soups, and traditional dishes like pachamanca (topic for another post), fava beans have adapted wonderfully to the Peruvian palate😋🇵🇪

In fact, we Peruvians whip up a very popular snack in our country called 'habas fritas'.
We peel the beans, fry them in oil, and finish by sprinkling them with salt. It's one of the best snacks, full of energy and sure to satisfy your hunger :)

In Lima, Day of the Dead is known as 'Día de Todos los Santos' (All Saints' Day). It's a beautiful tradition that brings people together to remember their loved to ones who have passed away🖤

On November 1st, families visit the Nueva Esperanza cemetery. They bring their favorite food, flowers, and even balloons to share by the graves.

It's our way of showing love and respect for those who are no longer with us🎈
