PROMPERÚ LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN “PERU, COUNTRY OF INFINITE GIFTS” TO PROMOTE DOMESTIC TOURISM FOR NATIONAL HOLIDAYS
PromPerú today launched the new domestic tourism campaign called “Peru, country of infinite gifts,” which seeks to encourage national pride and celebrate the wealth of our nation, within the framework of the National Holidays.
Through a promotional video with a catchy song performed by Peruvian artist Milena Warthon, the campaign highlights our culture, ancient traditions, rich history, great biodiversity and beautiful tourist attractions.
“In the national month, let's paint ourselves red and white and celebrate the National Holidays with this song that reflects our Peruvianness,” says PromPerú on its social networks.
The song also highlights our main tourist attractions such as Machu Picchu, the Lord of Sipán, Nasca Lines, Chan Chan and Paracas, in addition to our renowned gastronomy.
“From our lush jungle, to our warm coast, passing through the majestic Andes. Our country fascinates those who visit it. The flavor of our gastronomy conquers even the most demanding palates and our music brightens and enriches the soul. “We invite you to celebrate our Peru with this song of the national month!” adds the State promoter entity.
MORE ARTISTS IN THE CAMPAIGN
From Arequipa, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Elizabeth Galdo, pointed out that this action seeks to promote our identity and national love, and this will be through a series of audiovisual pieces that will be disseminated on the social networks of PromPerú and Marca Perú, and they will invite all Peruvians to join the messages. To participate, the public must enter paisdedonesinfinitos.pe.
The head of Mincetur explained that this action seeks to integrate all the elements that fill us with pride: our history, tourist attractions, gastronomy and culture. In addition, its musical framework is “Viva el Perú Señores”, by the famous Arequipa composer Mario Cavagnaro.
The singer Milena Wharton and the group Hermanos Yaipén will join the campaign. Also the content creators Las Hermanas Orihuela (dance), JuanPi (gastronomy) and Roxy Beuty (makeup). Dance presentations and activations will also be held during the month of July in Piura, Lambayeque, La Libertad, Loreto and Cusco.
“The long holiday for National Holidays is an important moment that fills us with pride and love for our country. Peru is one of the most varied countries in the world, a multicultural country, full of traditions and award-winning gastronomy. It has world heritage sites and is one of the countries with the greatest biological diversity and natural resources in the world. We, as Peruvians, must know it and I invite you all to visit it in these celebrations,” Minister Galdo highlighted.
According to the 2023 National Pride monitoring, almost 81% of Peruvians feel proud of the Peru Brand, which was launched in 2011 with the Peru Nebraska campaign.
