We have become more specialised to offer a product, which includes the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu, quality, mountain accommodation, with a group of people who have many years’ experience in tourism and Andean culture. mall, local communities, namely Soray, Huaracmachay, Chalway, Lucmabamba (Llactapata Inca trail) on the route to Machu Picchu. Refugios salkantay, together with the fore mentioned communities, decided to form a strategic alliance within which, each family would contribute what they were able to, depending on their income and abilities. It is for this reason we are proud to have formed the operations team purely with people form the local area and community.
