While most tour companies in Puno offer the same schedule with the same guided script along the same stops, at Andean Ways you’ll get a taste of off the beaten path experiences.
Puno Birding Tour at Sunset was ideally designed for avid birdwatchers with tight schedules looking for some unique experience in Lake Titicaca.
You’re going to be taken to the most spectacular place in Lake Titicaca National Reserve: the habitant of the native, resident, migratory and endemic birds.
If you love birds and nature then let us organize and make reality your special trip by joining Lake Titicaca Birding Tour in the late afternoon before the sun is gone.
Here is … what you’ll do on Titicaca Birding Trip at Sunset.
We’ll meet you at your hotel in Puno city with an entourage in tow and drive for about 35 minutes.
Then after, we’ll spend the late afternoon with a local guide (boatman) and a tour guide translator on a wooden rowing boat smoothly gliding down across the calm and flat river feeding Lake Titicaca’s water, through the reeds and watching Titicaca birds, in an area belonging to Yanico community (usually closed to visitors).
After a unique and enjoyable experience in a quiet and peaceful landscape, our local expert will keep rowing his wooden boat on the way back to the shore after you observed more than 30 species of birds.
Bring warm clothes, gloves, winter hat and scarf for the cold windy breeze of the Lake in the late evening. But instead we’ll enjoy of a beautiful sunset over Lake Titicaca landscape while slowly rowing back the wooden boat taking in sight more birds.
