Hier matin, l'un de nos guides a eu la chance d'assister à un spectacle naturel exceptionnel sous la lumière envoûtante de la pleine lune : la synchronisation parfaite des porites libérant simultanément leurs œufs et spermatozoïdes dans les eaux cristallines. Les porites, des coraux durs, jouent un rôle clé dans la construction des récifs coralliens, véritables poumons de nos océans. Pourquoi les récifs de porites sont essentiels : Un abri pour la vie marine : ils servent de refuge à une biodiversité impressionnante. Une protection naturelle : ils atténuent l'impact des vagues et des courants sur les côtes. Un équilibre précieux : ils participent activement à la santé des écosystèmes marins.
