It takes real courage for a woman to stand alone as a single parent to raise a child. A path we choose to show the world that we can make a difference, we are responsible for the life we brought in to the world. No matter the struggles, the hardship, challengers keeps us going extra miles. The most important thing as a mum; provides, educate protect, and most of all LOVE. Teach them the word of GOD, as they grow older let them choose their own path, we are there when they needed us.
Congratulations to all the hard working single mothers that proves over and over to strive, giving their best, to provide for their children. Being both dad and mum is not easy but we made it.
I salute you all.
Motherhood is an important role that God choose to give to many of us.
As the owner of LAT and a single parent myself, wishing you all 'HAPPY MOTHERS DAY and to all OUR OTHER BEAUTIFUL MOTHETS OUT THERE.

Today, well it's part of the experience, despite the down fall at 9am our clients who came all the way from Kainatu SIL yesterday, enjoying the weather. It's going to be a wet day today.

Some pictures and vedios a meant to be kept not for sharing but I decide to share this . You see, since I started the tour in 2014 my kids have been on this journey with me. My daughter was 8 years old back than, last weekend we celebrated her 16th Birthday. 🙂 Despite the out poring of rain in the morning, the day turn out well at 11am. We had the kids over for 4hours, swim, fun game and off cause food. Some of them it was their first time, others they been here before with their parents on tour..A bond created with a friendship... None of them wanted to leave but all fun must come to and end. 😄 Thank you to friends trusted us to send their children over for the first time. Happy Sweet 16th Miss sunshine. Who loves a good bumpy ride at the end of the day? 🙂 Well most of our clients do, the unexpected roughness of mighty maus Markham but this Christmas it wasn't rough as it was. - A fun day ends well.

Have an adventure ~ Tell a story

LaeAbout Tours is a small scale local tour operation run by Labumiti local Emma Nasinom. Operating from her village in Labumiti which is just a 10-15 min boat ride from the Lae township. LaeAbout Tours offer day tours to visitors seeking to explore a little bit of the Huon Gulf coastline and experience some of the gems tucked away within the coconut trees and mangroves.

Our main goal is to give people (tourist, visiting locals and local Lae residents) the opportunity to get out of Lae, see a bit of the Huon coastal villages and generally have a greater appreciation of Morobe. Morobe has a lot of tourism potential so we want in our small way contribute to your experience so you’ll have an adventure and story to tell when you return back home. We also established these tours to provide employment opportunities for our local boys, and give back to the local communities we visit.
