Good Day for Realignment of Goals.
Overcast, windy now it's raining π§
πͺ Echoes of the past, shaping our future! πͺ
Yesterday, the rhythmic beat of the Pero Pero garamut π₯ echoed through our community, calling our mamas to a special meeting.
Elijah Suaga Somo skillfully relayed the message, inviting them to learn about the power of Digicel Cell Moni πΈ from Timothy Jambi.
This beautiful blend of tradition and technology highlights our commitment to empowering our community with modern financial tools while honoring our rich cultural heritage. π
Together, we're building a brighter future, one beat at a time! πͺ

Karkar Islands continued mode of Transport
Biabi Enterprises Ltd: A Legacy of Service to Karkar Island π’π΄
For over 60 years, Biabi Enterprises Ltd has been an integral part of the Karkar Island community. Founded by The Late Noel Goodyear and his wife Late Singoak Goodyear, the company has provided a vital lifeline to the island, connecting it to the mainland and enabling trade and transportation. π€
In the early days, Biabi's copra vessels were the only means of sea transport for many islanders. πΆ They carried copra to Madang, bringing back essential cargo, building materials, and passengers.π¦π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
Today, the ships continue to play a crucial role, especially during rough weather when smaller boats cannot operate. βοΈ Biabi Enterprises has consistently stepped up to ensure the island remains connected, providing safe and reliable passage for both people and goods. π
Beyond its business operations, Biabi Enterprises has demonstrated a deep commitment to the Karkar community. β€οΈ
The founders, Late Noel and Late Singoak Goodyear, dedicated their time, energy, and resources to supporting the island's development. π Their legacy lives on in the company's continued service to the people of Karkar. β¨

From my post last week farewelling our 1st International guest at Pero Pero @ Mangul Frank Reichelt, I mentioned I would post Frank's video of the dolphins.
Of my 8yrs being home and coming home on the dinghy, I have never had dolphins swim so close.
Frank our 1st International guest asked if dolphins swim by and I initially said no.
Shortly after that, we had this wonderful surprise and I told him, its because of you and the dolphins are welcoming you.
I know after you, we will have more guests coming thru.
And on Monday 1/7, we had our second guests Tim n Mack Kohn from Brisbane come and stay with us.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Lord

Walked to Mangul Point this morning at 6.20am and guess what I saw again........ Dolphins ........ They were gracefully surfacing and then disappearing into the sea, just so graceful watching them.
Come to Pero Pero @ Mangul and take an early morning canoe ride out to be up close with them.
