Link PNG, a subsidiary of Air Niugini has now resumed operations following the completion of airport runway works by the National Airports Corporation which took almost two years.

Air Niugini’s Boeing 737 aircraft touched down at Gurney Airport, Milne Bay Province at 11:20am today.
Our Boeing 737-800 series aircraft will become a regular sight at Gurney Airport, with three weekly services from 28th March, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Pushing the wheelchair is another pioneer Air Niugini pilot, Captain Paun Nonggor-r in the company of our senior Boeing captains.
It's an airline tradition to signify the clipping of wings, marking an end of a pilot's flying career.

Captain Paul Kodor's final flight with Air Niugini yesterday afternoon after a colorful 34 years career with the national airline.
His Boeing 767 operated flight( PX 03/04 ) from Port Moresby to Brisbane and back received a traditional "water salute" , hosing down as it landed at Jackson's International airport , Port Moresby at 6:50pm for the last time.

Air Niugini’s Boeing 737 aircraft did a test flight into Kagamuga airport, Mt Hagen this morning.
Our Boeing 737-700 series aircraft will be operating its first commercial flight to Mount Hagen on Monday 14th December to assist with capacity during the peak period.
