While crossing the Kokoda North to South, our team met up with another group of trekkers at the Wase river crossing. Both groups tested that the bridge was safe enough and everyone crossed over. #Real##ADVENTURE##The##KOKODA

Our Story

Buna Treks and Tours offer a variety of Tours across Papua New Guinea giving our guests exclusive access to sites and traditions that only locals can provide.

We provide trekking on the Kokoda Track and climbs to Mt. Wilhelm. Our tours also extend to cover the Cultural festivals across PNG, Goroka Show, Mt. Hagen Show and the Musk Festival in Kokopo.

We offer bird watching and butterfly observation in Popondetta, and give you a real village life experience in Tufi. We cover most sites in Port Moresby other tour companies may not have the connection to take you and can give you exclusive tours around and outside the city.

Buna Treks and Tours is 100% Papua New Guinea owned and operate tourism business. It is owned by porters and guides from Buna and Sanananda Village in Popondetta.
