NATIONAL MASK & TOLAI WARVAGIRA FESTIVAL IS BACK

THE 27th National Mask Festival and Tolai Warvagira is back again.
The exciting and vibrant 2024 National Mask & Warwagira Festival is back again this year, promising to be an extraordinary celebration of cultural heritage and tradition. This highly anticipated event will be held from the 10th to the 13th of July at Queen's Park in Rabaul.
Known for its colorful and mesmerizing masks, the Warwagira Festival showcases the rich cultural diversity of the East New Britain Province. Visitors can look forward to a variety of traditional performances, arts, and interactive exhibits that reflect the deep-rooted customs of ENB.
The festival, now in its 27th year and is proudly supported by The ENB Provincial Governor, The ENB Provincial Administration, ENB Tourism Authority, PNG Tourism Promotion Authority, and the National Cultural Commission. Their commitment to promoting cultural tourism in East New Britain is evident in the organization of this event.
In addition to the breathtaking performances, the festival will provide a platform for local artisans to display and sell their unique crafts, offering festival-goers the opportunity to take home a piece of the culture.
