THE NEW NORMAL ENTRY PROCUDURE FOR ASIK-ASIK FALLS VISITORS
ALAMADA, Cotabato, January 17, 2022 – Booking, vaccination card, valid ID and personal appearance at the Tourism Office of the Municipality of Alamada, Cotabato are the current requirements on the New Normal entry procedure for the visitors of the Asik-Asik Falls.
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the IATF of the municipality has approved the request for the reopening of the Asik-Asik Falls provided that the primary entry requirements are met and the minimum health protocols are observed. The number of visitors per day is limited only to 150 persons, who are vaccinated regardless of their place of origin. To reserve for slots, the guests are required to book their tour by contacting the booking agent at 0970 700 3015 two to three days before their target date of visit. Walk-in visitors are only allowed to enter the Asik-Asik Falls if on that day, the site is not fully booked or there are cancelled bookings.
On the day of their scheduled visit, the guests are also required to visit first the Alamada Tourism Office, which is located at the ground floor, east wing, of the municipal building, for the verification of vaccination card and payment of the entrance fee before going to the falls. Without a Verification Slip and Official Receipt, no visitor can enter the compound of the Asik-Asik Falls Pavillion. The office is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during weekdays and 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN during weekends and holidays. The entrance fee for the visitors coming from Alamada is Php 40.00, from North Cotabato is Php 50.00, and from other places is Php70.00 for both children and adults.
The No Vaccination, No Entry policy is not only implemented at Asik-Asik Falls but also in the entire Municipality of Alamada in accordance with the MIATF Resolution No. 004, series of 2022.
