THE LAST 25 DAYS: NAIA PASSENGERS TO ENJOY FREE SHUTTLE RIDES FROM JUNE 15-30

Recently, as its gesture of gratitude to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Secretary Art Tugade and to augment the government’s Free Ride Service Program, the ride-hailing app, Grab Philippines, offered its participation by giving free shuttle rides to passengers at the NAIA Terminals 2 and 3, from 15 June until 30 June 2022, 8PM to 11PM.

Over 100 Grab units are set to ferry arriving passengers from NAIA to any point in the National Capital Region (NCR).

For passengers who want to avail of the free shuttle service, they must book at the Grab booths located at the Arrival Areas of NAIA Terminals 2 and 3.

On top of this, the Libreng Sakay Program in public utility vehicles under the Service Contracting Program of the DOTr and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) continues, as well as the Libreng Sakay Program at the MRT-3.

With only a few weeks left before the President’s term winds up, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) remains steadfast in its commitment to work and serve up to the last day of office, as sworn by Secretary Art Tugade, including the forging of partnerships with other institutions and sectors and collaborate on initiatives that will greatly benefit the Filipino people.

Narito ang latest updates on TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS specifically for those passengers bound to Butuan City, Caraga Region (Butuan Port), Caticlan, Roxas at Puerto Princesa City.
Ang mga impormasyong ito ay ayon sa mga requirements na inilabas ng local government unit (LGU) ng nasabing destination.
Additional notes:
For Butuan City:
- Fully vaccinated passengers will no longer be required of the Negative RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test result before boarding.
- Partially vaccinated and Unvaccinated passengers including 5 to 17 years old are still required to present a Negative RT-PCR or Antigen Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories conducted within 72 hours before departure from the point of the origin.
For Caraga Region (Butuan):
- Partially vaccinated passengers may present Vaccination Card/Certificate with travel schedule after 14 days from vaccination date.
- Unvaccinated passengers are still required of the Negative Antigen Test result taken in the last 48 hours or a Negative RT-PCR test result taken within the last 72 hours administered from any DOH accredited laboratory.
For Caticlan:
- S-Pass will no longer be required upon entry.
For Roxas:
- Partially vaccinated and Unvaccinated passengers will no longer be required of the Negative RT-PCR test result prior to boarding.
- S-Pass will no longer be required upon entry.
For Puerto Princesa City:
- Fully vaccinated, Partially and Unvaccinated passengers will no longer be required of the negative rapid antigen test result before boarding.

Effective February 2, 2022, narito ang latest updates on TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS specifically for those passengers bound to NEGROS OCCIDENTAL (BACOLOD) and AKLAN (CATICLAN/BORACAY).

Ang mga impormasyong ito ay ayon sa mga requirements na inilabas ng local government unit (LGU) ng nasabing destination.

Additional notes:

1. For Negros Occidental

- Effective February 1 to 15, 2022, electronic or printed copy of the Approved Travel Pass-Through Permit issued by the S-PASS Travel Management System approved by the LGU, will be the requirement for all inbound travelers bound to Negros Province.

- Rapid antigen test will be conducted free of charge UPON ARRIVAL. Passengers with Reactive Rapid Antigen Test result at the ports of entry shall have the option to either undergo facility-based quarantine or home quarantine.

The Province shall also honor the following:

- Non-Reactive rapid antigen test result prior to travel, which shall be valid for 48 hours from date of swab sample extraction, and conducted and issued by Department of Health accredited health clinic or laboratory.

- Negative RT-PCR test result prior to travel, which shall be valid for 72 hours from date of swab sample extraction, conducted and issued by Department of Health accredited molecular laboratory.

2. For Caticlan

Please be informed that FULLY VACCINATED passengers bound to Caticlan will no longer be required of the negative RT-PCR test result prior to boarding.

Note that RT-PCR Negative result certificate (saliva, nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal) with date of extraction within 72 hours to date of travel, will still be required for Unvaccinated or Partially vaccinated passengers.
