LALANG KAPAMPANGAN | As part of the National Arts Month 2025 celebration, the Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., hosted an Artist Talk and Printmaking Demonstration today, February 11, 2025, at Museo Ning Angeles.

Renowned printmaker Fil Delacruz led the session, sharing his expertise in fine printmaking through an in-depth discussion and live demonstration. Organized by the Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), headed by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, the event aimed to inspire local artists and students, including participants from the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Gueco Balibago.

The city government extends its gratitude to Museo Ning Angeles for providing the venue and continuous support in promoting local arts and culture.

The city government also acknowledges Norman Tiotuico of Pamitipun King Panyulung Ning Kalalangan At Amanang Kabiasnan Kapampangan (Artist Collective) for his assistance in coordinating the event schedule, ensuring its smooth ex*****on.

LALANG KAPAMPANGAN | The Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., will host an Artist Talk and Printmaking Demo titled “Kutkot at Limbag” - The Art of Fine Printmaking by Mr. Fil Delacruz on February 11, 2025 at the Museo Ning Angeles.

This event is part of the ongoing celebration of National Arts Month 2025.

The Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), led by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, in partnership with local Kapampangan artists, aims to inspire and uplift the creative community, offering a platform for artists to share their techniques and expertise. This event will feature an in-depth discussion on fine printmaking, along with a live demonstration by Mr. Delacruz, providing valuable insights for both emerging and established artists.

The event is open to all art enthusiasts, including students from the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Gueco Balibago, who will also be in attendance to witness the creative process.

ART IN ACTION | The Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., officially kicks off the National Arts Month celebration with an ON-THE-SPOT PAINTING EXHIBIT at the Santungan ning Kalalangan, Abacan Loop, Balibago, Angeles City, on February 3, 2025.

In this live artistic experience, 20 Angeleño artists captured their creative process in real-time, offering a vivid glimpse into the soul of Kapampangan art.

Their live masterpieces became a source of inspiration, encouraging the continued nurturing and appreciation of Kapampangan culture and artistry in Angeles City.

The event also featured performances by the AUF Dance Troupe, CCA Sayaw Angeleño Dance Troupe and members of the Anak Bale Balayan, bringing additional cultural richness to the celebration.

The Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), led by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui and supervised by Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, organized the event, with the support of Pamitipun King Panyulung Ning Kalalangan At Amanang Kabiasnan Kapampangan, further solidifying the city's commitment to fostering and preserving its vibrant cultural heritage.

Among the participant artists are Jascha Tolentino, Art Sumalde, Marylou Llibeth Millan Dumas, Ronald Buenacifra Jr., Francis Garzon, Arnel D. Garcia, Lloyd Dacayanan, Billy Corcuera, Bart Corcuera, Jose Orquia, Aurelio Q De Guzman, Angelo Naguit, Marinel Tungol, Ailyn A. Gonzales, Jeffrey Querido Gabatin, Edu Perreras, Ramil Tumampos, Arnold Salunga, Alvin Dungca, and Rolly Suba.

ANI NG SINING | The Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin, Jr., joins the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in celebrating the creative spirit of the Filipino people this National Arts Month 2025.

Through the Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), led by Aneleen Antonio-Sugui and supervised by Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, a series of activities have been organized to nurture and showcase the artistic talents of the Angeleños throughout the month-long celebration.
The theme "Diwa at Damdamin" highlights the city's dedication to recognizing the artistry and creativity of local talent.

It is also a reflection of Mayor Lazatin's commitment in providing platforms for Angeleño artists to showcase their works to the public, both within and beyond the Angeles City.

National Arts Month was established by Presidential Proclamation 683 in 1991, designating February as a time to honor Filipino art and culture.

ANGELES CITY LAUNCHES ART EXHIBIT FOR NATIONAL ARTS MONTH

ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., hosted Pupul Ning Kalalangan, a visual art exhibit, on January 24, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the MarQuee Mall Exhibit Area, in celebration of National Arts Month.

The exhibit will run until February 6, 2025.

Organized by the Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), headed by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui and supervised by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, the event aims to showcase Kapampangan artistry and promote the city’s cultural heritage.

The exhibit will feature works by local artists, including Norman Tiotuico (Curator), Arnold Salunga, Francis Garzon, Art Sumalde, Joeyboi Galang, Marie DC, Arthur Dela Cruz, Marinel Tungol, Alvin Dungca, Jade L. Dominguez, Minerva Zamora, Donna S. Camaya, Joanna Yap Cabrera, Maricar Yabut-Sangalang, Jeffrey Querido Gabatin, Ronald Buenacifra Jr., Lloyd Dacayanan, Rolly Suba, Angelo Naguit, Billy Corcuera, Enrie F. Nicdao, Aurelio Q. Mayor Lazatin acknowledged the partnership between the City Government, MarQuee Mall, and the Pamitipun King Panyulung Ning Kalalangan At Amanang Kabiasnan Kapampangan (Artist Collective) for making the exhibit possible.

“This initiative highlights the extraordinary creativity of our local artists and underscores our commitment to preserving and promoting Kapampangan culture,” Lazatin said.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Hon. Vice-Mayor Ma. Vicenta Vega-Cabigting, Councilor Marino Bañola and Officer-in-Charge Anneleen Antonio-Sugui.
