Invest in Bacnotan, La Union!

Bacnotan, La Union - a promising Humahataw na town of North Luzon (January 2025 Edition).

Alas! Since I have first said this "promising" thing for Bacnotan in March 2024, many new developments have come, and even more are coming.

The town's development will be anchored from the anticipated Mater Urban Development Plan which had its initial stages as of October 2024 (basis: State of the Municipal Address last October 8, 2024). The said plan will see to it that developments coming to the town are
1. related to the achieving of the 17 Global Sustainable Development Goals
2. responsive to the needs of the people of Bacnotan
3. will provide promising economic development not only for Bacnotan but also for the province of La Union in pursuit of a more progressive and satisfying life
4. sustainable progress where economic development, life satisfaction, environmental preservation and disaster resiliency are integrated to each other.

While waiting for the revealing of the master urban development plan, numerous investors - big and small, industrial, commercial, agricultural, tourism, and institutional, have already begun establishing in the town, and many more are coming to explore possible business opportunities. The anticipated completion of the TPLEx Extension to San Juan, La Union is also becoming a magnet of investments for the municipality.

Take photos now. In the years to come, Bacnotan will gradually be different.

Just when you thought progress is at its peak, there is more to come.
