Now Happening: Front Office Service Training

The Local Government Unit of Baganga, under the leadership of Hon. Ronald V. Lara, in collaboration with Davao Oriental State University - TIEC, is currently conducting a two-day training program on Front Office Service. This training is specifically designed for tourism frontliners in the Municipality of Baganga, aiming to enhance their skills and knowledge in providing excellent front office services to visitors and tourists.

Boat Captains (Bangkero) from Brgy. Kinablangan and Brgy. San Victor Island are now certified Marine Diesel Mechanic after attending and passing the Engine Operation and Maintenance Training (EOM 1) for Marine Diesel Mechanic conducted by Maritime Industry Authority- Regional Office XI last December 3-6, 2024 at Brgy. Kinablangan, Baganga, Davao Oriental.

Training and Exam Fees are covered by the Local Government Unit of Baganga headed by Mayor Ronald V. Lara.

This training is necessary to empower the Boat Captains (Bangkero) to continue ensuring safety for both locals and tourists.
