This space is dark, bare, and practically nothing. Its roof is tattered, it has no walls, no windows, no doors, floor is the floor of the road (what do you call that?) It has no bathroom, no kitchen and you guessed it, no everything.
So how do you make a house from scratch? 🤔
Pls wake me up when it’s time to lay our original Machuca tiles. My curation of machuca tiles are handmade and direct from the factory. When I discovered their factory it felt I unearthed an unlooted national treasure. We saw how these tiles were made from start to finish too, much like the adult version of a child watching how cupcakes are made and whipped with icing on top. And in the same way how I found our moroccan plates (from my previous post), there was a lot of digging, lifting, on-your-knees finders’ keepers style in the mountains of dust and rubbish. I wasn’t complaining, this is how my collections are usually found, and the experience and their story are what makes them precious. I bought some 6 yrs ago just because and kept them with me, waiting for the perfect spot. And finally, they will now be used here in this lofthouse!
