The festivities will begin with Christmas songs and carols performed by the talented Saint Louis University (SLU) Band, filling the air with melodies that warm the soul. Then, the magic unfolds as the city’s towering Christmas tree comes to life, its lights illuminating the night and spreading the spirit of hope and unity.

Right after the tree lighting, look to the skies for a breathtaking fireworks display by SM City Baguio, painting the cool evening with dazzling colors. And as the night continues, the enchanting SLU Lantern Parade will take center stage, featuring beautifully crafted lanterns that celebrate the artistry and traditions of the season.

Then, the magic unfolds as the city’s towering Christmas tree comes to life, its lights illuminating the night and spreading the spirit of hope and unity. The countdown to the lighting will be ushered by the University of the Cordilleras Dance Company.

This year, Baguio City’s iconic Christmas tree at the Session Road Rotunda is set to mesmerize residents and visitors alike with a concept that blends art, faith, and tradition. Inspired by the grandeur of stained glass windows in churches, the tree will depict the sacred story of the Nativity, bringing a unique spiritual dimension to the city's holiday celebration.

The City Buildings and Architecture Office (CBAO) has started fabricating this masterpiece in preparation for the much anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 1, 2024.
