A giant surprise is waiting for you at Baguio Botanical Garden—𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀! 👢👢

This huge, 12-foot-tall boot is a symbol of creativity and friendship. It was built through teamwork between Baguio City and its sister city, San Antonio, Texas, USA.

The statue celebrates their bond, mixing art, culture, and history into something truly special.

Located inside the beautiful Botanical Garden, it’s surrounded by colorful flowers and peaceful paths—perfect for a fun and relaxing visit.

FIRST GLASS WALKWAY IN CORDILLERA - A NEW TOURIST ATTRACTION IN ITOGON, BENGUET

The Cordillera region proudly unveils its first-ever glass walkway, located in the scenic municipality of Itogon, Benguet.

This groundbreaking attraction offers visitors a thrilling and one-of-a-kind experience as they walk on transparent glass panels, giving the illusion of walking on air.

Perched high above the ground, the walkway provides a panoramic view of Itogon’s majestic mountains, lush greenery, and dramatic landscapes, making it a must-visit destination for adventurers and nature enthusiasts alike.

Beyond its awe-inspiring design, the glass walkway highlights the region's natural beauty and serves as a testament to the growing efforts to boost tourism in Benguet.

Temporary closure of both lanes of Session Road, North Drive, part of Magsaysay, outbound lane of Harrison Road, and sections of Abanao, Shanum Street, Jose Abad Santos Drive, and Lake Drive.

These roads will be closed on 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 until the parade's conclusion for the 𝙎𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚.

Baguio and Upland Luzon to Experience 9°C Temperatures in February 🥶

BAGUIO CITY – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasts temperatures in mountainous areas of Luzon to drop to around 9°C in February 2025. This chilly weather is attributed to the northeast monsoon and shear line effects.

Residents are advised to boost their immune systems by getting enough rest, maintaining a balanced diet, and keeping warm to prevent influenza-like illnesses, which have seen a significant increase in the past year.
