𝗟𝗘𝗧'𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗢 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥!

On April 1, 2024, the Baguio City Council institutionalized the Clean-As-You-Go (CLAYGO) practice in various food-serving establishments across Baguio City through Ordinance 18-2024.

This initiative aims to promote cleanliness, proper dining etiquette, and community cooperation.

🧹 What is CLAYGO?
CLAYGO encourages customers to clean up their dining area after use, fostering good manners, hygiene, and common courtesy.

🏙️ Coverage:
This ordinance applies to all:

Restaurants
Fast food chains
Cafeterias
Eateries
Bakeries
Coffee shops
Canteens
Food outlets
Public eating places in Baguio City

📅 Covered establishments are mandated to:

practice CLAYGO.
Install CLAYGO signages and provide garbage bins for segregation.
Set up depository areas for return trays and non-disposable tableware.

🚫 Exemptions:
Fine dining restaurants are exempted.

🔍 City Health Services Office (CHSO):
Will conduct inspections to ensure compliance.

💵 Penalties:

Offenders will face fines ranging from P500.00 to P2,000.00 depending on the violation and frequency.
